Survey analysis software that reads every answer for you
Open answers hold the reasons behind your scores, and they are the part most teams never finish reading. Asked analyzes each answer the moment it arrives. Voice and video become transcripts, transcripts become themes, and the whole survey fits on one page you can share.
Transcripts for every voice and video answer
Every voice note and video answer is transcribed automatically. You read a recording in seconds instead of playing it, and you can search transcripts like any other text.
The recording stays attached to its transcript. Click a sentence and the player jumps to that moment, so you can hear tone and emphasis whenever the words alone are not enough.
Transcription draws on your plan's monthly minutes: 60 on Starter, 300 on Growth, 1,200 on Business and 4,000 on Enterprise. Typed answers do not use minutes.
Themes across hundreds of answers
Asked groups answers into themes, the recurring topics people raise without being prompted. Each theme shows how many answers mention it and links to those answers, so a theme is never a black box.
- See which topics come up most in one survey
- Open a theme to read every answer behind it
- Filter answers by theme, question or format
Themes work the same way on typed, spoken and recorded answers, so you never analyze formats separately.
Sentiment on each answer
Each answer is marked positive, neutral or negative. Sentiment sits next to scores from rating and NPS questions, which makes it easy to spot a passive score paired with a frustrated explanation. That mismatch is often where the useful finding hides. Teams that run NPS can read more on our NPS software page about hearing detractors in their own voice.
Key quotes with timestamps
Asked pulls the sentences that capture a point best and keeps a timestamp for each. A quote from a video links straight to the second it was said.
- Copy a quote into a slide or a product brief
- Share a short clip with the team that owns the issue
- Collect quotes per theme for a research readout
A one-page summary per survey
The summary is the page you send to people who will never open a survey tool. It states the main themes, where respondents agree, where they split, and the quotes that illustrate each point. It updates as new answers arrive, so you can share it on day one and again at the end.
Export to CSV and PDF
- CSV with every answer, transcript, theme, sentiment and score
- PDF of the summary for decks and reports
- Webhooks on Business and Enterprise to send each answer as it arrives

From a week of tagging to the same day
A manual interview round means scheduling calls, recording them, transcribing, tagging and writing it up. Asked replaces those steps with one survey. Respondents answer when it suits them, and the analysis runs while you work on something else.
The analysis is part of every plan. What changes between plans is volume: responses, transcription minutes and seats. Compare on survey software pricing.
Questions about AI analysis
Yes. Themes, sentiment, quotes and the summary cover typed answers the same way as voice and video. Only transcription is specific to recordings.
Yes. Every theme links to the answers behind it, and every quote links to its answer and timestamp, so you can verify any finding.
Yes. Transcripts, themes, sentiment, quotes and the one-page summary are part of Starter, Growth, Business and Enterprise. Plans differ in responses and transcription minutes per month.
Answers keep arriving and typed answers are analyzed as usual. New voice and video answers wait for transcription until minutes renew with the next billing period or you move to a larger plan.
