Asked

NPS software that tells you why promoters stay and detractors leave

Net Promoter Score is one number. The decisions you make with it depend on the reasons behind it. Asked is NPS software that asks the standard 0 to 10 question, then lets each person explain their score by typing, speaking or recording a short video. AI reads every reason and shows you what drives promoters and what drives detractors.

The standard question plus a reason worth reading

Every NPS survey in Asked starts with the familiar question on a 0 to 10 scale. The next screen asks why. Because people can answer by voice note or video in the browser, the reason is often a few sentences instead of a few words.

  • NPS question type with the 0 to 10 scale built in.
  • Open follow-up answered by text, voice or video.
  • Optional AI follow-up that asks one more question based on the reason given.
  • Extra questions when you need them: rating, multiple choice, yes or no.

Not sure how to word the question and the follow-up? Our guide to the NPS question covers the wording and when to ask.

Promoters, passives and detractors, each with their own themes

Asked transcribes voice and video reasons and groups every answer into themes across the survey. Each answer gets a sentiment, and each theme shows the quotes behind it with timestamps. That way you can see whether detractors talk about price, support or a missing feature, and what promoters praise most.

The one-page summary per survey is ready for the leadership update. Export answers to CSV or the summary to PDF. For deeper work across many surveys, see the survey analysis software page.

Run relationship NPS and transactional NPS in one workspace

  • Relationship NPS once a quarter, sent by email invite to your customer list.
  • Transactional NPS after onboarding, a renewal or a support case, shared by link.
  • In-product NPS shown on chosen pages through a popup or a side tab with website survey tools.
  • QR codes for NPS in physical locations such as stores, clinics or events.

Keep each program as its own survey so themes and summaries stay separate. When you compare quarters, the themes show whether the same complaint keeps coming back or fades after a fix.

Close the loop with the exact words of the customer

A detractor's voice note is easier to act on than a 3. Share the quote with the team that owns the problem, with the timestamp so they can listen to the moment that matters. Teams on Business and Enterprise can send every new answer to their own systems with webhooks and keep an audit log of who did what in the workspace.

If you measure satisfaction after single interactions too, pair NPS with customer satisfaction survey software. For broader input from customers, use Asked as your customer feedback tool.
