Survey platforms rarely hear the why, Asked is built around it
Asked is a complete survey platform in one product: a builder, three answer formats, sharing in every channel, AI analysis, publishing with consent and team controls. This page lists every capability, grouped by what you need to get done.
Build surveys from a goal
Start from one sentence about what you want to learn, and Asked drafts the questions. You can also start from a blank survey or a template for a common goal such as churn, onboarding or event feedback.
- Conversational flow with one question per screen
- Six question types including open answer, rating, NPS, multiple choice, yes or no and file upload
- Format control per question, so you allow text, voice, video or any mix
- Drag to reorder, duplicate questions, edit wording in place
- Drafts saved to your workspace automatically
The survey maker page explains the builder in depth.
Three answer formats on every open question
People explain more when they can talk. Asked lets each respondent pick the format that suits the moment.
- Typed text for quick replies and quiet places
- Voice notes recorded in the browser, covered on our voice feedback page
- Video recorded on a phone or laptop with a preview before sending
- Re-record before submitting, so nobody sends a take they dislike
Video length is capped per plan: 2 minutes on Starter, 3 on Growth, 5 on Business and Enterprise.
An optional AI follow-up question
When an answer hints at something worth a second look, Asked can ask one follow-up based on what the person said. A respondent who mentions onboarding might be asked what slowed them down. The follow-up is off by default, you turn it on per question, and each plan includes a monthly number of follow-ups, starting at 100 on Starter and 1,000 on Growth.
AI analysis that reads every answer
- Automatic transcripts of voice and video answers
- Themes grouped across all answers in a survey
- Sentiment marked on each answer
- Key quotes with timestamps that jump to the moment in the recording
- A one-page summary per survey
- Export to CSV and PDF
Details live on the survey analysis software page.
Answer walls with consent
Some answers deserve an audience: a customer explaining what changed for them, an attendee describing a talk. Answer walls let you publish selected answers on a public page. Only answers where the respondent ticked the consent checkbox can be published, and each published answer gets its own page. Starter includes one wall, Growth five, Business and Enterprise as many walls as you need, with published answers counting toward responses.
Teams, security and data control
- Workspaces to keep teams and clients apart
- Roles for owner, editor and viewer
- Seats from 1 on Starter to 50 on Enterprise
- Audit log on Business and Enterprise
- SSO with SAML on Enterprise
- Retention setting per survey and deletion on request
- Webhooks and CSV export on Business and up
Plans that grow with your volume
Plans differ in active surveys, monthly responses, transcription minutes, AI follow-ups and seats. Starter covers a solo founder or consultant, Growth fits a product or CX team, Business serves several teams and Enterprise adds SSO for larger organizations. Every plan is billed monthly or yearly, and yearly saves 50 percent. Compare limits on survey software pricing.
Questions about features
Every plan includes the builder, all six question types, text, voice and video answers, AI transcripts, themes, sentiment, quotes, the one-page summary and CSV and PDF export. Higher plans add seats, volume, branding, integrations and security controls.
Yes, from the Growth plan up you can apply your own branding and remove the badge. Business and Enterprise also let surveys run on your own domain.
Business and Enterprise include webhooks, so each new answer can be sent to your own systems, plus CSV export on demand.
Yes. Starter has 1 seat, Growth 5, Business 15 and Enterprise 50. Each seat gets a role of owner, editor or viewer.
Put every feature to work on your first survey
Start with a goal and let Asked draft the questions. Then decide on formats, share the link and read the themes. Curious about the respondent side first? See video surveys in action.
