Survey maker that starts from what you want to learn
A blank form is where good surveys stall. Asked starts with one sentence about your goal and drafts the questions for you, in an order that people find easy to answer. You keep full control of every word, and the survey is ready to share in minutes.
From goal to draft in one step
Type what you want to find out, such as why trial users do not upgrade. Choose who will answer and which formats you allow. Asked writes five to seven questions that move from easy to specific and end with an open invitation to add anything else.
You can try this on the homepage as a one-time demo before creating an account. Inside your workspace, every new survey can start the same way, from a template, or from scratch.
Six question types for every kind of answer
| Question type | Best for |
|---|---|
| Open answer | The reason behind a choice, in text, voice or video |
| Rating | A quick score for satisfaction or ease |
| NPS 0 to 10 | Loyalty tracking with a why question after it |
| Multiple choice | Segmenting answers by role, plan or use case |
| Yes or no | Simple checks and branching |
| File upload | Screenshots, receipts or documents |
Mixing a couple of closed questions with two or three open ones gives you numbers to track and reasons to act on.
Editing that stays out of your way
- Rewrite any question in place
- Change a question type without starting again
- Drag to reorder or duplicate a question
- Set allowed answer formats per open question
- Turn the AI follow-up on for chosen questions
- Preview the respondent view on a phone frame
Drafts save as you go, so a half-finished survey is always waiting where you left it.
A survey people want to finish
Respondents see one question per screen in a conversational flow. Open questions offer Text, Voice and Video buttons, so a person on a phone can speak instead of thumb-typing a paragraph. Everything runs in the browser with no app or login. Read more about the spoken formats on voice feedback and video surveys.
Your brand on every survey
From Growth up, surveys carry your logo and colors and the Asked badge disappears. Business and Enterprise let you run surveys on your own domain, which helps when respondents are cautious about unfamiliar links.
Templates for the surveys teams run most
Not every survey needs a fresh draft. Templates give you a tested structure for common goals, and you adjust the wording to your product.
- Trial and churn surveys that ask what blocked the next step
- Onboarding check-ins for customers and new hires
- CSAT and NPS with an open why question after the score
- Event feedback collected by QR code
- Customer story prompts for publishing with consent
Survey maker plans
Starter includes 5 active surveys and 500 responses a month. Growth raises that to 25 surveys and 2,500 responses with 5 seats. Business and Enterprise add more volume, integrations and security controls. Check every number on survey software pricing.
Questions about the survey maker
Yes. You can start from a blank survey, a template or a goal. The draft is a starting point you can rewrite completely.
The draft uses five to seven, which keeps completion high. You can add or remove questions, but shorter surveys with one or two open questions usually get fuller answers.
Yes. The builder shows the respondent view on a phone frame so you can check wording and flow before publishing.
No. Responses count as usage in the billing period, so deleting a survey or an answer does not restore quota. Quota renews with each new period.
